Foldables grow up: thinner, tougher, still pricey

B2 · 17 июня · 3 мин

The folding-screen category finally feels mainstream.

After years of false starts, foldable phones finally feel refined. Makers have ironed out the worst problems with the hinge and the crease, and the latest flagship stands out for how little everyday wear and tear it shows.

Under the hood, the upgrades are real: a brighter screen, smarter cameras and longer battery life. The folding form factor is no longer just a niche gimmick.

The premium price still makes it a tempting rather than obvious buy. But for the first time, it is easy to imagine these phones going mainstream.
